Q: What do you mean by Turnkey project work?
A: At Carlson Engineering we offer our customers a variety of
services one of them being Complete Turnkey Project Management. For us, Turnkey is defined by, but not limited to, total
and complete responsibility for the design, purchase, delivery, installation, integration, and training on the project.
Once on the project, our Project Managers serve as the project lead and point of contact for our customers. To name a few responsibilities, the Project Manager will:
- Be responsible for Planning and Scheduling resources both in-house and contractors.
- Be responsible for the purchase, shipping, installation, and commissioning of all equipment necessary.
- Onsite construction management.
- If applicable, work with the customers engineers to make sure all specifications are followed.
- Serve as the overall project administrator.
- Be responsible for communicating project progress reports to the customer.
- Be responsible for identifying any possible risks and work to resolve them.
- Be responsible for project hand over and closeout.

Q: Is your software proprietary?
Yes, our software was designed by our engineers for use in automated
production facilities and is owned by Carlson Engineering, Inc. Unlike other automation software packages, our software
does not tie you down by requiring a license per station. Only one license per facility is needed and can be installed on
any PC running Microsoft products. Please give us a call to discuss applications.
